Get ready for Small Charity Week Hello Annie,
We know that small charities like yours are essential for stronger and more resilient communities. So this Small Charity Week, we’re on a mission.
We want to create a conversation about the vital role of small charities in strengthening communities across the country. When small charities are stronger, the communities they support are stronger too.
From 24-28 June, we’ll be sharing inspiring stories from across our sector and hosting an exciting slate of learning events. We’ve also launched a resource pack, brimming with templates and graphics that will help you make your mark on this national campaign.
👉 Apply for a 30-Minute Mentor – member exclusive 👉 Book a webinar 👉 Join the Small Charity Week campaign Apply for your own 30-Minute Mentor Are you struggling with challenges that you haven’t had the time or resources to address? Are you looking for guidance from an experienced, fellow professional? In our recent survey of small charities, you told us the top areas you want support with. You also told us that you wanted more support and recognition from large charities. We took your feedback onboard and created 30-Minute Mentors – an exclusive series of mentoring sessions for NCVO members.
We’ve recruited mentors from some of our larger members to spend a 30-minute one-on-one session discussing an issue your small charity is facing. Each day, we’ll focus on a different theme highlighted by our survey respondents. Our mentors can help you with: - Monday 24 June: Fundraising and funding
- Wednesday 26 June: Strategy and evaluation
- Thursday 27 June: Marketing and communications
- Friday 28 June: HR and people management
You may apply for more than one theme, but each charity will be limited to attending one 30-minute slot. If you’re successful, we’ll let you know in the next two weeks. If you’re unsuccessful, we’ll still offer you the chance the discuss your challenge in a peer-support network.
Book today to avoid disappointment! If you don’t manage to get a place on our 30-Minute Mentor scheme, there are still plenty of other learning opportunities. Book your place to learn and share with other small charities:
